Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching the Cambridge curriculum and proven experience in preparing students for the IGCSE Mathematics examinations.
• As part of our dedicated teaching team, you will inspire students to develop confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in Mathematics, while upholding the values and standards of our school.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge Secondary and IGCSE curriculum.
• Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments and external IGCSE examinations.
• Design engaging lesson plans and differentiated learning activities to meet diverse student needs.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assess, record, and report student progress in line with school and Cambridge assessment standards.
• Provide academic mentoring and support to students preparing for IGCSE exams.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and whole-school activities.
• Uphold high standards of classroom management, discipline, and student motivation.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience, with at least 2 years in the Cambridge curriculum.
• Demonstrated success in preparing students for IGCSE/WAEC Mathematics examinations.
• Strong knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and use of ICT in the classroom.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
