Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive English language and literature lessons that align with the school's curriculum and instructional guidelines.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technology to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their individualized growth.
• Promote a love for reading and literature through the exploration of a wide range of texts, genres, and authors.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and interdisciplinary units that enhance students' understanding of English in real-world contexts.
• Stay updated with current educational practices, literary trends, and technological advancements in language instruction.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in the field of English education.

Requirements:

• A strong practicing Spirit-filled Christian, with a deep commitment to Christian values and principles.
• Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification in English or English Education.
• Proven experience teaching English language and literature at the secondary school level.
• Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
• Passion for education and a genuine interest in inspiring students to develop effective communication skills and a deep appreciation for literature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth and personal development.
