Secondary CRS Teacher at Spring of Life and Fountain of Wisdom Schools

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and impactful lessons on Christian Religious Studies in line with the school's curriculum and instructional guidelines.
• Instill Christian values and principles while fostering a strong spiritual and moral foundation among students.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages students’ participation, spiritual growth, and understanding of Biblical teachings.
• Use diverse teaching strategies, resources, and technology to cater to different learning needs and abilities.
• Regularly assess students’ progress through formative and summative evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Promote critical thinking and real-world application of Christian teachings in students’ lives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular activities and projects that integrate Biblical principles.
• Stay updated with developments in theology, religious education, and teaching methods.
• Participate in staff development programs, workshops, and seminars for professional growth.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to maintain open communication and foster a supportive community. 

Requirements:

• A devoted practicing Christian with strong faith, integrity, and a commitment to Christian values.
• Bachelor’s degree in Christian Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification in Religious Studies or Education.
• Proven experience teaching Christian Religious Studies at the secondary school level.
• Deep understanding of Biblical teachings, church history, and Christian ethics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts.
• Passion for mentoring students and inspiring them to apply Christian values in their daily lives.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to integrate technology and multimedia resources into CRS instruction.
• Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning in the field of religious education.
