    Sales Representative (FMCG)

    About the Role

    • Our client is seeking experienced Sales Representatives (Modern Trade) to drive growth and customer acquisition across major cities in Nigeria.
    • This role requires performing individuals with knowledge of the modern trade landscape in their assigned location, a strong track record in FMCG sales, and the ability to open, nurture, and grow key customer accounts in modern trade channels.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive sales of the company’s cleaning and personal care products within Modern Trade outlets (e.g., supermarkets, retail chains, hypermarkets) in the assigned location.
    • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets, growth objectives, and key performance indicators.
    • Execute retail activation plans, product placement, and promotions in stores.
    • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
    • Submit accurate and timely sales reports, order documentation, and customer records.
    • Coordinate with internal teams on order fulfillment, inventory, and customer service.

    Requirements & Skills

    • Minimum of HND/B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
    • 1-2 years experience in modern trade sales within the FMCG sector.
    • Strong knowledge of customer base in the relevant city.
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to bring in established customer relationships and convert leads into regular orders.
    • Good reporting and communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

    Preferred Criteria:

    • Must be currently residing in the location applied for.
    • Should have an existing portfolio of clients in modern trade within the city.
