The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and maximizing sales across hotel services (rooms, events, F&B). This role focuses on achieving sales targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction aligned with Hyatt’s brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities (corporate, leisure, MICE segments)
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and corporate partners
Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client presentations
Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability
Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
3–6+ years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts
Knowledge of local and international travel markets is a plus
