Our client is seeking a Sales Hunter in Abuja, Nigeria, to play a critical role in expanding their customer base.
This role requires a motivated, results-driven individual with a strong sales background in fintech or financial services, focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Actively seek and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities in Abuja and surrounding areas.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate untapped markets.
Use various channels such as cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals to build a strong pipeline of prospects.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and potential clients in the region.
Engage prospective clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within Abuja’s business community.
Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and product demos.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals effectively.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to align on messaging and ensure solutions are tailored to client needs.
Share market insights and client feedback to support product development.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM tools.
Prepare regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales within fintech or financial services, preferably in the Abuja market.
Proven track record in client acquisition and consistently meeting sales targets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to articulate complex fintech solutions.
Self-motivated with a proactive, hunter mentality.
Resilient and persistent, with strategic problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel within Abuja and occasionally to other locations.
