The Sales Executive will drive sales efforts across multiple regions, acquire new clients, and manage relationships with existing customers. This role is crucial for expanding the products' market presence and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the film industry requiring payroll and payment solutions.
Drive revenue growth by cross selling, acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts for both products.
Develop and execute go-to-market and sales strategies aligned with the products’ growth and market expansion goals.
Build and manage strategic partnerships across the entertainment industry.
Lead client acquisition efforts through prospecting, pitching, negotiations, and deal closure.
Collaborate with product, compliance, operations, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory shifts in the fintech ecosystem.
Represent Film Makers Mart and RollPay Africa at industry events, demos, and stakeholder meetings to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
Monitor sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and provide regular performance reports to leadership.
Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product improvements and new feature development.
Ensure adherence to fintech regulations, KYC, AML, and compliance requirements during business engagements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
4–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within fintech, financial services, SaaS, or payments.
Strong understanding of payroll systems, digital payments, and fintech business models.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build long-term client and partner relationships.
Strong analytical and market research skills.
Familiarity with the entertainment industry in Africa.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance tracking.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in fintech (KYC, AML, compliance) is an advantage.
