    Sales Engineer

    Job Overview

    • The Sales Engineer – Industrial Air Compressors is responsible for driving sales, business development, and customer acquisition for industrial air compressors and accessories.
    • The role is sales-focused, requiring a proven track record in air compressor sales or a related industry, with strong technical expertise to support product knowledge and customer engagement.
    • The ideal candidate will have the ability to generate leads, close sales, expand market share, and provide technical guidance on compressor systems, applications, and after-sales solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

    Duties & Responsibilties
    Sales & Business Development:

    • Promote and sell compressors, accessories, modifications, and after-sales solutions to meet business objectives
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets for industrial air compressors and accessories.
    • Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
    • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and sales agreements to prospective clients.
    • Conduct market research to track competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs.
    • Ensure prompt payment collection and credit control from customers.
    • Assist in the preparation and execution of sales budgets for the air compressor product line.

    Technical & Customer Support:

    • Provide technical consultation to customers on selecting the right compressor systems for their operations.
    • Ensure proper pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and oversee equipment delivery to customers.
    • Educate customers on product features, maintenance best practices, and efficiency optimization.
    • Collaborate with the service team to support aftersales operations, troubleshooting, and customer inquiries.

    Competency Requirements
    Academic Qualification:

    • Bachelor`s Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience on Compressor maintenance and repairs.

    Personal Skills:

    • Hands on experience in maintenance & trouble shooting in all ranges of Air Compressors (Portable, Industrial & Oil free) and Air Dryers.
    • Strong negotiation and business development skills to drive sales growth.
    • In-depth knowledge of air compressor selection, installation, and applications.
    • Ability to interpret technical requirements and provide product recommendations to customers.
    • Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting software.
