    Sales Engineer

    Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

    Job Summary

    • As a Product Sales Engineer, you will charge with the responsibility of helping to build up the business by identifying new business prospects and selling products to them.
    • They must maintain relationships with current clients and build new relationships with new clients.
    • They must also stay ahead of their competition and work on sharpening and improving their skills by attending classes, seminars, or workshops.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Familiarize yourself with all OEM products and services offered by our company
    • Suggest upgrades or added products and services that may interest the clients
    • Work with the team to ensure excellent product delivery
    • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
    • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
    • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
    • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on services
    • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
    • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
    • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
    • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
    • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals
    • Participating in sales team meetings
    • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
    • Building and maintaining a CRM database
    • Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.
    • 3+ years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
    • Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
    • Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
    • Knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software
    • Ability to negotiate and understand marketing skills
    • Ability to create and deliver presentations
    • Fast learner and quick thinker
    • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
    • Passionate about sales.

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of the Industry market and customer preferences.
    • Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools.
    • Experience creating technical content, such as whitepapers or technical blog posts.
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Language proficiency in multiple languages to cater to a diverse customer base.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing.

    Salary
    N350,000 / month.
