Role Description

Med-Rems Pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable, proactive and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide quality pharmaceutical care, manage daily pharmacy operations, and contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide professional medication counseling.
• Assess patient needs, identify drug interactions, and offer appropriate healthcare advice.
• Manage inventory, monitor expiry dates, and ensure adequate stock availability.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and professional standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
• Support pharmacy growth through ethical product recommendations, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Supervise pharmacy support staff and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and prepare relevant reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Pharm or Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license and registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions and pharmaceutical care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good inventory management and organizational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently or within a team.
• Previous community or retail pharmacy experience is an advantage.
• Basic computer and pharmacy management software skills.
