    Sales & Business Development Manager

    Description

    • We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales & Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele and increase sales.
    • You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
    • The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with existing and new clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales target
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
    • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
    • Preparesales contractsensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
    • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
    • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Providing pre-sales & after-sales technical assistance, product education to clients on Instrumentation/Quality Control /Electrical apparatus Testing & Measurement/Analytical/Process Monitoring/Industrial Automation products and equipment.
    • Generating Sales Inquiries and responding to Request For Quotes and inquiries from Clients.
    • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
    • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events;
    • Starting up, maintaining, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting a wide variety of laboratory Instruments, Quality Control Instruments, industrial instruments.
    • Develop entry level staff into valuable sales people
    • Extensive travel within and outside Lagos.

    Requirements and skills

    • BSc / HND in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Instrumentation / Metallurgical)
    • 2+ years relevant work experience.
    • Proven workingexperience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
    • Proven sales track record
    • Experience in customer support
    • Customer facing ability
    • Meeting and exceeding deadlines and targets
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
    • Proficiency in English
    • Market knowledge
    • Communication and negotiationskills
    • Ability to build rapport
    • Time management and planning skills
    • Able to quickly assimilate new technical knowledge and interested in building a career with a growth-oriented company.
    • Commercial acumen and the ability to promote a technical solution as a value for money exercise
    • Computer literacy, especially with regard to modern scientific user interfaces, document and presentation preparation and report writing.

    Compensation

    • Standard Salary and Emoluments
    • Sales Bonus Payout on Milestones achievements
    • Sales Commission on Specific Sales Target.
