    Rope Access Technicians (RATs) - Oil & Gas Construction Projects

    Job Summary

    • The Rope Access Technicians (RATS) will perform specialized access and maintenance tasks using rope access techniques on clients' facilities. 
    • The role involves ensuring safe and efficient execution of tasks in challenging environments, in compliance withindustry standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Rope Access Operations: Perform tasks such as inspection, maintenance, and repair using IRATA-certified rope access techniques.
    • Safety Compliance: Ensure all rope access activities adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards and Company procedures.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of rope access activities, including inspection reports and certification documents.
    • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to rope access promptly.

    Requirements

    • Education: B.Sc Degree or equivalent in a Technical subject.
    • Certification: IRATA Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).
    • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of offshore work experience as a Rope Access Technician.

    Skills:

    • Proficiency in rope access techniques and equipment.
    • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

    Certifications:

    • OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
    • Additional certifications in inspection or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) are required.

    Key Competencies:

    • Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of rope access processes and techniques.
    • Attention to Detail: Ensure all rope access activities meet Company specifications and safety standards.
    • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with project teams to achieve quality objectives.
    • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
