Baba Azimi Foundation (BAF) is seeking qualified and reputable contractors to express their interest in the construction of a block of three (3) classrooms, staff room/office and mini store in Girtigne community in Kaugama LGA of Jigawa state under the Partnership & Local Rights Programme supported by ActionAid Nigeria.

Project Description:

The project involves building a block of three (3) classrooms, one (1) staff room and a mini store, aimed at enhancing the educational infrastructure within the community. 

  Key Details:

Scope of Work:

The contractor will be responsible for:

1. Block work from foundation to finish
2. Roofing, PVC Ceiling and carpentry
3. Electrical installations (lights, ceiling fans and Sockets)
4. Finishing works include plastering, painting and terrazzo /tile flooring
5. Installation of doors, windows, and classroom fixtures

The contractor will also give reports at each stage of the process.

1. Technical Requirements: Bidders should demonstrate their expertise and capacity to undertake similar projects. These include possessing the necessary equipment, experienced personnel, and evidence of track record in delivering successful classroom constructions.
2. Compliance: All construction activities must adhere to applicable local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards. Bidders should possess the required licenses and certifications.
3. Evaluation Criteria

           Submissions will be evaluated based on:

1. Experience and past project performance
2. Technical and financial capability
3. Compliance with the stated eligibility criteria
4. Completeness and clarity of the submitted documents
5. Contract Duration: The contract will be awarded for a fixed-term period. Details regarding contract duration, payment terms, and milestones will be provided to shortlisted bidders.
