Road Supervisor at Cosgrove Investment Limited

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Road or Highway Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) would be advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in road supervision and construction management. This should include at least 3 years of experience working in Nigeria with a reputable construction or engineering firm.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive and practical knowledge of road and highway construction methods, materials, and technologies. Demonstrated experience in earthworks, stone construction, and infrastructure management.
• Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale road construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Experience in coordinating with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies in Nigeria is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex construction challenges. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to manage teams and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary groups.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Nigerian road construction standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Understanding of local codes and practices related to road and infrastructure development.
• Technology Proficiency: Competency in using construction management software and technology relevant to road supervision and project management.
