RMNCAEH+N Quality of Care Capacity Building Trainer

    Overview

    • Nigeria continues to face high maternal and child mortality rates, with a maternal mortality ratio of 512 deaths per 100,000 live births, under-5 mortality at 132 per 1,000 live births, and neonatal mortality at 39 per 1,000 live births (NDHS 2018). Despite efforts, the NDHS 2013 and 2018 show minimal progress in reducing these rates.
