This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos for a Revenue Assurance & Interconnect Manager.
The manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue streams, monitoring interconnect agreements, improving business processes, and implementing revenue assurance strategies.
Daily tasks include analyzing financial data, verifying revenue recognition, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
Develop comprehensive revenue assurance and fraud prevention policies and procedures.
Recommend and implement fraud prevention systems and process enhancements.
Perform reconciliation of revenue streams and call data records to ensure data integrity.
Provide leadership and direction in protecting company assets to prevent financial loss and fraud.
Investigate customer complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
Collaborate with other departments and finance teams to design and implement best practices for fraud prevention.
Document and monitor revenue flows.
Develop business continuity plans, tools, and processes to minimize business interruptions and revenue loss from disasters, sabotage, or network downtime.
Update and maintain the international rates table.
Monitor and analyze international traffic routing to ensure Least Cost Routing (LCR) is consistently applied.
Monitor and block unauthorized airtime transfers and call routing/refiling.
Continuously identify and mitigate revenue losses to maintain high levels of loss avoidance.
Analyze and approve commission payments to ensure integrity and compliance with business rules.
Monitor potential revenue leakages and inflated cost exposures in interconnect trading environments.
Test changes to revenue-generating software platforms to identify and prevent potential revenue leakage before deployment.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Finance Officer or designated company representatives.
Qualifications
Revenue Assurance and Revenue Recognition skills
Bachelor’s Degree in any numerate field (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field) including Sciences and Engineering.
Minimum of 8 Years work experience
At least 5 years hands-on experience in Telecommunications industry
Sound project management skills
Logical and analytical skills
Interpersonal/communications skills
Essential Desirable Articulate and well-coordinated Leadership traits
Business Process Improvement and Analytical skills
Finance expertise
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work on-site in Lagos
Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
