Restaurant Storekeeper at Santos Global Services (SGS)

Job Description

• We are looking for a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage and maintain our restaurant’s inventory and storage operations.
• The ideal candidate will ensure proper stock levels, accurate record-keeping, and timely availability of supplies to support smooth kitchen and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
• Issue ingredients and supplies to kitchen and service staff as required
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of stock (FIFO)
• Monitor stock usage and report shortages or discrepancies
• Coordinate with suppliers and management for timely reordering
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a store keeper or in inventory management (restaurant or hospitality preferred)
• Basic knowledge of food items, kitchen supplies, and storage procedures
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills (inventory software or spreadsheets is a plus)
• Physically able to lift and move stock items.
