    Regulatory Affairs Specialist

    A Regulatory Affairs Specialist acts as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities (NAFDAC & SON), ensuring all products compliance with appropriate legislation. The specialist is also responsible for supporting the Regulatory Affairs Manager in all their responsibilities.

    Job Details

    • Driving all applications to the NAFDAC and the SON.
    • Track that the company's products and operations adhere to all applicable regulatory guidelines.
    • Conduct thorough research and analysis of regulatory requirements for product development and submissions.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline regulatory processes and improve efficiency.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulations set by the NAFDAC, SON, LASEPA, MAN, Ministry of Environment, AFBTA, Lagos State water Regulatory Agency etc.
    • Manage issues with non-conforming product to assure proper control, minimize loses, and provide analysis to drive the elimination of future occurrences
    • Manage risks associated with new product runs.
    • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with team, internal customers, peers, and institutions.
    • Recommends and supports the implementation of the ones delivering values quickly
    • Learns and implements best practices from outside and shares own best practices within SBC
    • Promotes process automation and use of technology within the business

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Physical Science e.g. Chemistry, Biochemistry or Food Science and Technology
    • At least 3 - 5 years working experience in an FMCG industry with a level of a quality control/assurance function in a food and beverage company
    • Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety.
    • Ability to translate functional strategy into unit/section’s plan
    • Ability to disseminate and enforce safety, health & environment policy and improvement initiatives.
