Recruitment Consultant at The People Practice

Our client in the Oil, Gas and Energy industry is looking to hire a talented Recruitment Consultant who will be responsible for developing and maintaining long lasting relationships with both consultants and clients from all around the world. This includes sourcing, identifying and delivering consultants to an impressive client portfolio, including some of the biggest names in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Post jobs on career websites/portals 
• Consult with managers/clients to understand the staff requirements and specific job objectives
• Source candidates by using databases and social media
• Screen/ Evaluate resumes
• Conduct phone, Skype and/or in-person interviews
• Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
• Contact new employees and prepare on boarding sessions
• Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
• Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
• Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
• Maintain a robust network of professionals from which can leverage on with sound referrals

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher
• Preferable experience as a recruiter
• Experience with planning and crewing is a pre-requisite
• Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is a pre-requisite
• Minimum experience of between 8 to 10 years experience in a similar role
• Proven track record of delivering and placing Technical and Corporate positions in Oil and Gas sector

• Excellent communication skills
• Pro-active and ability to multitask
