Reconciliation Officer at Roqqu Nigeria Limited

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a Reconciliation Officer who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records by reconciling digital asset and fiat transactions across multiple platforms.
• This role is critical to maintaining financial integrity in a high-volume digital asset environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Reconciliation

• Perform daily reconciliation of.
  • Digital wallets (hot and cold)
  • Exchange accounts
  • Custodian balances
  • Bank accounts
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation

Data Validation & Reporting

• Verify transaction data across internal systems and external platforms
• Prepare reconciliation reports for review by the Senior Accountant
• Track unresolved items and escalate exceptions.

Control & Audit Support

• Maintain audit trails for reconciled transactions.
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Ensure compliance with financial control procedures

Operational Support

• Monitor transaction flows and settlement status.
• Support the finance team with data compilation for reporting
• Assist in maintaining accurate records for regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting or reconciliation experience.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services preferred.
