    Real Estate Manager – South

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and localize the corporate real estate strategy in Southern Nigeria
    • Support site identification, lease negotiations, and acquisition for offices and telecom infrastructure
    • Ensure optimal asset utilization, conducting routine inspections, valuations, and site audits
    • Collaborate with network deployment teams to align property strategies with rollout goals
    • Manage day-to-day operations of regional facilities, including data centers, BTS sites, and administrative offices
    • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs regionally
    • Monitor infrastructure condition, oversee workspace allocation, and supervise refurbishments
    • Coordinate with regional service providers (e.g. security, cleaners, facility engineers)
    • Support tendering, selection, and supervision of vendors for facility-related services
    • Ensure vendor SLAs are met across all property assets under your jurisdiction
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for property operations in the region
    • Monitor utility and operational costs and recommend cost-saving measures
    • Provide regular reports to Head Office on property status, risks, and compliance issues
    • Ensure compliance with all local land use laws, environmental regulations, and building codes
    • Support property registration, documentation, land use approvals, and lease renewals
    • Enforce regional safety, fire protection, and environmental health standards
    • Supervise on-ground property/facilities officers and technical teams
    • Support training, mentorship, and performance monitoring of the regional property team
    • Foster collaboration between operations, legal, and technical teams in the region

    Education / Certification

    • Bachelor’s in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
    • Professional certifications (NIESV, ESVARBON, PMP, etc.) are an advantage

    Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in property or facility management, with at least 3 years in a regional or telecom environment
    • Experience managing BTS sites, fiber asset locations, and regional facility operations
    • Experience in property acquisitions and asset management
