Quality Assurance Manager at Strengths Africa Limited

What You’ll Do

• Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and applicable building codes
• Ensure projects meet technical specifications, drawings, and regulatory standards
• Review method statements and technical submittals for quality compliance
• Implement and monitor Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) across all projects
• Conduct site inspections across civil, structural, and finishing works
• Oversee material testing (concrete, soil, steel, etc.) and quality verification processes
• Supervise QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and quality personnel across projects
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness
• Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and client complaints
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities on quality matters
• Collaborate with HSE teams to align quality and safety standards
• Ensure proper documentation of quality records, as-built drawings, handover and inspection documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Master’s Degree required
• Professional certification in Quality Management or Construction Quality Systems is an added advantage.
• 11–13 years of professional experience
• Minimum 4 years in a management role
• Strong experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects
