Quality Assurance Engineer at Software Business Solutions Consulting

You will be responsible for

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

• 7+ years experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles, with at least 5 years focused on enterprise-level systems, ideally in financial services or regulated industries handling mission-critical data and transactions. 
• Testing Framework Expertise: Deep proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium/WebDriver or Cypress for React-based frontends, and backend testing libraries like JUnit (JAVA), NUnit (C#), PyTest (Python), or Jest (Node.JS/Typescript). 
• Microservices & Distributed Systems Testing: Proven experience testing polyglot microservices architectures, including API validation (REST/GraphQL), and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka) 
• Performance & Security Testing Proficiency: Hands-on experience with performance tools for load/stress testing and security tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite) for identifying vulnerabilities in financial-grade applications. 
• CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) scripts. 
• Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to methodically diagnose complex issues in distributed systems and communicate findings clearly to technical and non technical stakeholders. 
• Quality Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated track record of driving quality in agile teams, achieving high test coverage (e.g., 80%+), reducing production defects, and supporting frequent releases with a focus on reliability over speed alone.
