We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to develop and maintain quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) policies that comply with international standards such as IMO, ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, and MARPOL. The role involves ensuring compliance with maritime laws, fostering a safety culture, and integrating QHSE into daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish QHSE policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Oversee crew training and emergency drills.
Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards.
Conduct audits and prepare QHSE reports.
Develop and implement emergency response plans.
Qualifications:
HND/B.SC/B.Eng. in marine engineering, Environmental Science, occupational health and safety, or relevant field.
Professional Certification such as NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISM, ISPS.
