HSEQ Supervisor at Energy People

Qualifications 

• Degree in Applied Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• Relevant certifications and Experience in laboratory operations.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years

Job Description

• Supervise daily HSEQ operations including site inspections, toolbox talks, job hazard analysis (JHA), and permit-to-work compliance.
• Ensure full implementation of HSE Management System (HSE-MS), emergency response plan (ERP), and safe operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, Taproot) and ensure closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor environmental performance including emission controls, waste management, spills prevention, and reporting of environmental deviations.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and ensure 100% compliance with DPR/NMDPRA, FMEnv, and other bodies.
• Lead fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency preparedness training for all staff and contractors.
• Oversee the performance of HSEQ Officers and ensure proper documentation of all HSEQ activities such as checklists, audits, and compliance logs.
• Facilitate HSE induction for new employees and contractors, reinforcing safety expectations and terminal rules.
• Support internal and external HSEQ audits, gap closures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain regular communication with operations, maintenance, and project teams to ensure HSEQ alignment across all activities.
