    • Translate grant deliverables into clear, time-bound implementation plans, ensuring alignment with national family planning priorities and MSI global standards.
    • Contribute to the refinement of HIUD introduction and scale-up strategies, including demand generation, service delivery, and sustainability approaches.

Project Design and Implementation (Client-Centered Care & Innovation)

    • Oversee the design and implementation of HIUD interventions that are rights-based, client-centered, and responsive to user needs, with a strong focus on quality of care and informed choice.
    • Ensure HIUD service delivery models are evidence-informed, context-appropriate, and aligned with MSI clinical and service delivery standards.
    • Promote innovation and continuous improvement in demand generation, service delivery, and provider capacity-building approaches.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (Results Orientation & Learning Mindset)

    • Ensure effective use of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems to track progress, assess performance, and inform adaptive project management.
    • Use data and learning insights to drive decisions, improve project quality, and demonstrate impact to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support documentation and dissemination of lessons learned, and best practices related to HIUD introduction and scale-up.

Donor Management and Compliance (Accountability & Professionalism)

    • Ensure full compliance with Gates Foundation grant requirements, MSI policies, and financial and reporting standards.
    • Lead the preparation of high-quality donor reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely submission.
    • Support donor engagement, reviews, and audits, representing MSI with professionalism and credibility.
    • Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement (Collaboration & Influencing)
    • Build and sustain strong partnerships with Ministries of Health, donors, technical partners, and implementing organizations to support HIUD integration and scale-up.
    • Actively contribute to national and global family planning forums, technical working groups, and partner coordination platforms.
    • Foster a collaborative working environment across MSI teams, encouraging shared ownership and collective problem-solving.

Safeguarding, Risk, and Quality Assurance (Integrity & Accountability)

    • Ensure all project activities comply with MSI safeguarding, PSEAH, and ethical standards.
    • Identify and manage programmatic, operational, and reputational risks, escalating issues appropriately, and implementing mitigation strategies.
    • Uphold MSI’s commitment to quality, equity, and respect in all engagements with clients, partners, and colleagues.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in public health, Medicine, Nursing, International Development, or a related field; master’s degree (MPH, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
