    Project Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering assigned MEP projects from commencement to completion, ensuring they are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide the interface between project ownership and project delivery teams for assigned projects.
    • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and
    • Plumbing (MEP) works on construction projects.
    • Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of approved MEP systems.
    • Control project budgets and monitor costs related to MEP works, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits.
    • Plan, schedule, and supervise site activities related to MEP installation to ensure the timely completion of work.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a first degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in MEP project management and construction execution.
    • Proven experience in managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection works on construction projects.
    • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality control standards, and site coordination.
    • Experience managing medium to large-scale MEP projects.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strong leadership and people management skills
    • Competencies: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams effectively.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
