Project Accountant at Hobark International Limited (HIL)

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join its Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project-related financial activities, including project costing, budget monitoring, financial analysis, revenue recognition, and project performance reporting. The role will provide critical financial support to project teams while ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA certification is mandatory.
• 4–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on Project Accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of project costing, budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue recognition under IFRS 15.
• Experience using ERP systems and project costing modules.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Power BI proficiency is an added advantage.
• Experience within Upstream Oil & Gas, Oilfield Services, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), or Energy Services sectors will be highly advantageous.
