Production Supervisor at Nigeria Distilleries Limited (NDL)

PURPOSE OF JOB

• To supervise the Human component, material, and equipment to ensure efficient production processes, optimal resource utilization, and high-quality output. The job holder will ensure effective implementation and use of manufacturing excellence in delivering superior production results.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Delegate and supervise the production processes and performance for smooth and efficient operations to meet daily production targets and minimize downtime.
• Manage daily plan of SKU allocated and utilize human resources, material, and equipment to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
• Ensures the safety of self, colleagues, equipment, materials and employees under his care and implements manufacturing excellence in the department.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless production operations and timely delivery of products.
• Oversee the implementation of GHK and GMP to ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Train and motivate machine engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and high performance.
• Prepare regular reports on key metrics, such as output, quality, and efficiency, to provide data-driven insight for informed decision-making, continuous improvement, and strategic planning for senior management.
