Production Assistant - Premium Edible Products Limited at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

Plan consumables to ensure smooth production operations as well as maintain an adequate record of production output and material consumption to meet production targets. 

THE JOB 

• Deduce Material Requirements from the production budget annually. 
• Develop an efficient replenishment model for optimal Inventory Management monthly. 
• Report weekly, stock duration, and alert on material shortage where necessary. 
• Document daily production throughput for every section of the plant. 
• Analyses and maintains records of Material depletion within the plant. 
• Concise and reconcile daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly production output, and sales volume log in a single-page report daily. 
• Review periodically material movement and stocks with the Logistics and Warehouse Manager.  
• Satisfies Management Information system requirements. 
• Ensure the safety of self and others in the line of duty 
• Ensure compliance with FSMS requirements in the assigned work process 
• Understand the company’s food safety policy, its objective, and the benefits of an improved food safety management system. 

THE PERSON MUST 

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Have people and project management skills. 
• Be assertive and confident  
• Possess analytical skills and critical thinking with good attention to detail. 

QUALIFICATION 

• BSc/HND in any sciences, statistics-related discipline. 

EXPERIENCE 

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
