Process Engineer at Felton Energy Services Ltd (FESL)

Job Purpose

• The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and supporting process systems within oil & gas operations. The role requires strong expertise in process simulation, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. The Process Engineer ensures that systems are designed and maintained to meet international standards, minimize downtime, and support sustainable workforce performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and optimize process systems for oil & gas operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and risk assessments to improve efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and bid support materials for new business opportunities.
• Contribute to workforce training initiatives by sharing process knowledge and best practices.
• Support tender preparation by providing technical inputs and process design considerations.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide insights on process risks and required adjustments.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all process engineering deliverables.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• 5–10 years’ experience as a Process Engineer within oil & gas, EPC, or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
• Familiarity with international safety and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to identify process risks and propose workable mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Additional certifications in process safety, project controls, or engineering frameworks are added advantages.
