Principal Telecoms Engineer - Engineering Services at Navante Oil & Gas Company Limited

Job Description

• Follow up telecom packages as package responsible engineer (PRE), vendors and vendors technical documentation.
• Interface with other disciplines, contractors and Clients.
• Provide BID proposals for Telecoms, provide direction to other team members on technical and commercial delivery, proactively assist with risk mitigation and project problem solving.
• Develop technical requisitions for procurement of telecom equipment.
• Participate in multidiscipline design and review activities.
• Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for instrumentation discipline as required.
• Lead the Team/Service with the team performance with delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Lead by example on projects and provide guidance and training where needed to further enhance project delivery.
• Promote and maintain safe working practices in the office and whilst on site.
• Provide with mentoring and guidance.
• Assist with career development and performance meetings with team.
• Represent discipline to other parts of the business and management.
• Responsible for team resources and develop business strategies for future growth.
• Assist with implementation and/or organise in-house training for team.
• Responsible for with daily management of team and resources.
• Responsible for with setting of team development goals.
• Maintain good engineering practice, delivery and performance.
• Multi cross business centre interface and delivery

Experience & Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree or in related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in telecom engineering, preferably within Oil & Gas projects on the Offshore Wind sector.
• BOSIET / FOET and current Offshore Medical Certificate.
• Qualified to travel offshore.
