    Primary Coordinator/ Class Teacher

    The primary coordinator is a teacher who is responsible for overseeing and managing the activities, curriculum, and well-being of the primary school section. The primary coordinator's responsibilities might include

    • Curriculum Planning: Collaborating with teachers to design and implement the curriculum for primary classes, ensuring that it aligns with educational standards and the school's objectives.
    • Student Assessment: Overseeing the assessment and evaluation process to gauge students' progress and performance.
    • Teacher Support: Providing guidance and support to primary school teachers, assisting them in developing effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
    • Parent Communication: Interacting with parents or guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress, behavior, and any important school-related matters.
    • Student Welfare: Ensuring the overall well-being of primary students, addressing any social, emotional, or behavioral concerns that may arise.
    • Resource Management: Coordinating the allocation and usage of educational resources, such as textbooks, teaching aids, and technology, within the primary section.
    • Upper Primary Class Teacher: An upper primary class teacher is an educator responsible for teaching students in the upper primary grades, typically ranging from Grade 4 to Grade 6 or 7, depending on the school's grade structure. Their responsibilities include:
    • Subject Instruction: Teaching various subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, social studies, and possibly others, to the assigned class.
    • Curriculum Implementation: Designing lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
    • Classroom Management: Creating a positive and engaging learning environment, managing student behavior, and promoting a culture of respect and cooperation.
    • Assessment and Grading: Designing and administering assessments to evaluate student learning, and assigning grades based on their performance.
    • Individualized Support: Identifying students who may need additional help and providing extra support or accommodations as necessary.
    • Parent-Teacher Communication: Interacting with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress, discussing any concerns, and collaborating on strategies to support the student's learning journey.
    • Extracurricular Activities: Participating in or overseeing extracurricular activities that contribute to students' holistic development, such as clubs, sports, or arts programs.

    Education

    • B. Ed and any other relevant qualification (Cambridge Certification is a Plus)
