Job Summary

• The Price Sourcing Officer will be responsible for conducting regular and comprehensive market research to identify competitive prices for food items
•  The successful candidate will analyze pricing trends, gather data from multiple markets, and recommend cost-effective procurement options to support efficient stock management and ensure profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily and weekly market surveys across major markets in Lagos to source updated prices for food products.
• Compare supplier/market pricing and identify the most cost-effective purchase options.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and seasonal variations affecting food products. Maintain an organized and up-to-date price database for all food items.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved procurement efficiency by sourcing for different vendors for a particular product.

Requirements & Qualifications

• OND / NCE / SSCE qualification (added if you want — let me know if you prefer a minimum of OND or SSCE).
• Strong knowledge of Lagos markets, especially within and around Ikeja.
• Must live within or very close to Ikeja (this is mandatory).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to negotiate and gather real-time pricing information.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Salary
N90,000 Monthly.
