Porter - Igando at Clinix Healthcare Nigeria

• Clinix Healthcare is seeking a physically fit, responsible, and hardworking Porter to join our support team at the Igando branch. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by assisting with the movement of patients, equipment, and materials within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely between departments (e.g., from reception to consulting rooms, laboratory, radiology, wards, or pharmacy).
• Move medical equipment, supplies, laboratory samples, and other materials as required.
• Assist in transferring patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds.
• Support the cleaning team by disposing of waste (including biohazardous waste) according to safety protocols.
• Deliver documents, reports, and test results between departments promptly.
• Provide basic assistance to patients and visitors when needed.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of wheelchairs, stretchers, and trolleys.
• Perform any other support duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Physically fit and able to stand and move for long hours.
• Responsible, punctual, and respectful attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact politely with patients and staff.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Awareness of basic infection control and patient safety practices.
• Honesty and high level of integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC / NECO or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Porter, Ward Assistant, or in a similar support role in a hospital is an advantage.
• Valid means of identification.
