Job Summary

• A hotel porter is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, providing information about the hotel and local area, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Assist with luggage during check-in and check-out.
• Escort guests to their rooms, explaining room features and facilities
• Handle and safely store guest luggage.
• Deliver messages, parcels, or room service items to guest rooms.
• Arrange transport of luggage to taxis, buses, or airport shuttles.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and amenities.
• Offer directions and basic information about local attractions, transport, and restaurants.
• Arrange for taxis or other transport services when requested.
• Ensure luggage is tagged and handled carefully to prevent loss or damage.
• Report suspicious behavior or security concerns to management.
• Assist with emergency procedures (e.g., helping guests evacuate if needed)
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the lobby, entrance, and baggage storage area.
• Support the front desk/reception team with guest requests.
• Perform errands or special tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Salary
N60,000 Monthly.
