Head, Internal Audit at ACE Human Resources Consulting

JOB SUMMARY:

The Head, Internal Audit is responsible for the client's internal auditing processes. The role involves development, review and proper application of audit procedures and overseeing audit compliance with the client's operations. The Head, Internal Audit provides independent assurance on risk management and internal controls to ensure operational efficiency within the client's company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement necessary audit policies and procedures for the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management at the client's company.
• Lead and participate in all internal audit engagements at the client's company.
• Examine financial records, accounting practices, and operational procedures to ensure accuracy, reliability, compliance and efficiency. 
• Ensure transparency and accountability in all the client's business processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and the Board as necessary.
• Identify ways in which the client's company can deliver better value for money on cost-saving techniques.
• Analyze financial documents for accuracy and compliance with the client's company internal controls.
• Review and update the client's company internal control policies, procedures and standards.
• Maintain documentation of all audit procedures.
• Prepare and provide report on audit findings for management.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessment of various departments and functions to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Investigate irregularities or errors and advise management on preventive and corrective actions.
• Any other duties assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Auditing or Accounting.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in auditing, risk management, compliance and internal controls.
• Professional certification such as CIA, ACA or ACCA.
• Understanding of cybersecurity risks and IT audit principles, given the increasing digitalization trends.
