Plant Manager - Golden Fertilizer Co. Ltd at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE

To drive the optimal utilization of production resources for Blending of high-quality Fertilizer products in compliance with regulatory standards, while coordinating timely distribution to meet commercial demand in support of overall business growth.

THE JOB

• Plan, coordinate and manage daily blending operations to achieve production targets and ensure product quality standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules that align with sales forecasts and customer requirements.
• Oversee material planning, inventory control, and timely availability of inputs for uninterrupted  blending operations.
• Coordinate and oversee Plant maintenance Programme including Preventive, Breakdown and plant installation Programmes.
• Drive adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory quality guidelines (e.g., SON, NAFDAC).
• Manage stakeholder engagement on behalf of Golden Fertilizer with FEPSAN, NAERSL, SON, NAFDAC, Federal ministry of Labour, State and Federal Regulatory Agencies.
• Optimize raw material logistics processes to improve turnaround time, reduce cost, and support timely delivery.
• Implement and monitor site-specific HSE policies and procedures to prevent incidents and improve workplace safety.

THE PERSON MUST

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations
• Excellent leadership, and people management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, Multitasking and time-management skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATION

• B.Sc. in Electrical/ Mechanical/Civil engineering.
• MBA is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 8 years cognate experience in a similar role.
