    Policy Advisor

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team. S/he will be responsible for coordinating rule and policy making process for Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and supporting NGX RegCo in its provision of rules/policy development, guidance, advisory and related services to all relevant stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinating end to end process of developing and/or amending rules, regulatory policies and frameworks;
    • Interpreting existing and proposed rules, as well as address related enquiries, for benefit of all relevant stakeholders;
    • Conducting regular research, building relationships and leveraging existing relationships with all relevant stakeholders, to ensure best practices;
    • Writing comment letters on existing and proposed SEC rules, policies or any other regulation or law pertaining NGX Group and relevant stakeholders;
    • Supporting promotion of services and activities of NGX RegCo as required;
    • Monitoring and reporting on general developments in Capital Market.

    Person Specification & Required Qualification (s)

    • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or any related field;
    • Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in either legal, regulatory/compliance, or relevant role;
    • Strong understanding of securities laws, with solid knowledge of Investments and Securities Act 2025, SEC Rules, NGX Rules, and CAMA 2020;
    • Good knowledge of Capital Market;
    • Sound business and legal judgment;
    • Excellent presentation, problem solving and communication skills;
    • Excellent Time management and Project Management skills.
