Job Summary

• The pharmacist will be responsible for managing the company’s in-house pharmacy, ensuring the provision of safe, effective, and timely pharmaceutical services to our employees.
• He will also be in charge of dispensing medications, providing counseling on proper use, and maintaining accurate inventory. In addition, he will oversee the procurement and supply chain management of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment in collaboration with partner hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and advise patients on the proper usage and potential side effects.
• Maintain an organized and secure storage of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and restock drugs as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care.
• Provide drug information and education to employees as needed.
• Communicate with various departments of the hospital to understand the needs for medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, and develop procurement plans.
• Manage partnerships with hospitals to ensure that the supply of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals meets operational needs.
• Coordinate and manage the procurement process for medical equipment and pharmaceuticals to ensure a smooth supply chain.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with major pharmacies to expand procurement channels for pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor market trends, evaluate, and select new suppliers and products.
• Manage inventory to ensure timely replenishment and effective utilization of pharmaceuticals and equipment.
• Regularly review and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Must be a licensed and registered pharmacist in Nigeria.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, including experience in procurement and inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Must be male.
