The Locum Pharmacist will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical services.
This role requires strict adherence to regulatory standards, accurate dispensing of medications, patient counseling, and ensuring uninterrupted pharmacy operations during assigned shifts.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly professional, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
Provide appropriate medication counseling and pharmaceutical advice to customers and patients.
Ensure full compliance with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and internal company policies.
Review prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and clinical appropriateness.
Maintain proper documentation, records, and inventory controls in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Monitor drug storage conditions to ensure product safety, quality, and efficacy.
Support stock management, including checking expiry dates and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Uphold high standards of customer service, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
Ensure a smooth handover of duties at the end of each shift.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
Must be a fully licensed and registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in community or retail pharmacy practice.
Prior experience working in high-volume or regulated environments is an added advantage.
