    Pharmacist

    Job Objective:

    • The Locum Pharmacist will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical services.
    • This role requires strict adherence to regulatory standards, accurate dispensing of medications, patient counseling, and ensuring uninterrupted pharmacy operations during assigned shifts.
    • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly professional, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
    • Provide appropriate medication counseling and pharmaceutical advice to customers and patients.
    • Ensure full compliance with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and internal company policies.
    • Review prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and clinical appropriateness.
    • Maintain proper documentation, records, and inventory controls in line with company and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor drug storage conditions to ensure product safety, quality, and efficacy.
    • Support stock management, including checking expiry dates and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Uphold high standards of customer service, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
    • Ensure a smooth handover of duties at the end of each shift.

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
    • Must be a fully licensed and registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
    • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in community or retail pharmacy practice.
    • Prior experience working in high-volume or regulated environments is an added advantage.
