Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing:

• Dispense medications according to prescriptions and instructions.
• Ensure accurate medication labeling and packaging.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.

Patient Counseling:

• Provide patient education on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Answer patients' questions and concerns about medications and health conditions.
• Offer health and wellness advice, including immunizations and screenings.

Medication Management:

• Monitor patients' medication regimens for safety, efficacy, and potential interactions.
• Adjust medication dosages or recommend alternative treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy.

Clinical Services:

• Provide clinical services, such as blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol screening, and diabetes management.
• Administer vaccinations and injections.
• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) sessions.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols.

Continuing Education:

• Stay current with pharmaceutical research, guidelines, and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 - 8 years experience.
