The Personal Assistant (PA) works with the Managing Director to provide one-to-one support. Typically the PA support the MD by offering administrative help such as monitoring the MD's email, drafting communications on their behalf, planning and organising meetings and their travel.
The Personal Assistant needs to have a deep understanding of the company and know who the key personnel are, as they are representing Top Management. For this same reason, it is important the individual has great interpersonal skills, is well-presented, well exposed and professional.
