    Operations Manager

    Job Brief

    The Operations Manager shall oversee operational activities at every level. He shall be responsible for strategizing process improvements to ensure operational efficiency.

    Job Responsibilities

    Leadership and Management

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company.
    • Manage and direct the operations team (Production, Sales, Inventory, Account, HR, Facility, and Procurement) to achieve business targets.
    • Implement the right processes, procedures, and practices for the smooth running of operations.
    • Mentor and train team members, find ways to increase the quality of products, and implement best practices across all levels.

    Inventory Management

    • Manage inventory, stock count, stock keeping of raw materials, product reconciliation, and procuring materials
    • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
    • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures

    Cash Management

    • Developing and implementing operating and capital budgets, monitoring and controlling expenses according to allotted budget.
    • Manage the daily disbursement of payments from the company’s expense account for operational needs such as procurement of raw materials, paying for delivery fees, purchase of office supplies, and payment for other expense items authorized by management.

    Sales Management

    • Maintain accurate and precise documentation for operational procedures and activities.
    • Build strong relationships by addressing customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.

    Production Management

    • Management of the Production Supervisor to ensure that production objectives and targets are achieved within a specified timeframe.
    • Work with the Production Supervisor to resolve Production issues and needs.

    Procurement Management

    • Monitor and supervise the Facility and Procurement Officer to ensure that quality materials are efficiently and reasonably procured from the right vendor.
    • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships

    Facility Management

    • Monitor and supervise the Facility Manager to ensure that machines, equipment, and other fixed assets are properly maintained.
    • Ensuring that hygiene and housekeeping of the business are carried out.
    • Monitors the Facility manager to ensure that the business facility is secure and theft is prevented.

    Reporting

    • Prepare and present periodic report about Operations to the Managing Director in a timely manner.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role.
    • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
    • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
    • Familiarity with business and financial principles.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Leadership ability.
    • Outstanding organizational skills.
    • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field.
