Operations Manager (OEM Auto Parts Retailer) at iRecruiters Africa Limited

Responsibilities:

• In charge of operational activities in the store/showroom
• Attend to clients' enquiries and concerns with relation to sales.
• Identify gaps in business operations and propose possible solutions to resolve same to optimize the business operations.
• Track and manage operational costs toward maintaining profit margins.
• Analyze and maintain operational data and monitor product inventories to minimize lost sales. Promote efficiency by implementing improved operational procedures.
• Ensure positive client, supplier, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor market trends in the automobile industry to spot new opportunities and threats Oversee and support administrative functions.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years’ experience in the e-commerce retail environments and last-mile delivery sector
• Knowledge of Automobiles and Maintenance would be an added advantage
• Solid understanding of warehousing operations, inventory analysis, logistics, procurement, and client relationship management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of project management and strategic planning.
• Ability to promote efficiency toward achieving business objectives and profitability.
• Must be digitally savvy and proficient with the use of ERP.
