    Operation Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Executive Director, Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the organization, ensuring efficiency, quality service delivery, and alignment with strategic goals. 
    • This role provides leadership across multiple departments, manages resources, streamlines processes, and fosters a high-performance culture that supports organizational growth and sustainability.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
    • Oversee daily operations across departments such as production, logistics, procurement, HR, and administration
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement
    • Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety, and quality standards
    • Collaborate with the executive team to set budgets and manage financial performance
    • Lead cross-functional teams and ensure departmental goals are met
    • Manage vendor relationships and supply chain efficiency
    • Optimize resource allocation to improve service delivery and reduce costs
    • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
    • Represent operations in board meetings and contribute to strategic planning
    • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
    • 7+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles
    • Strong leadership, decision-making, and project management skills
    • Proven track record in optimizing business operations and team performance
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
    • Familiarity with business software and operational tools (ERP systems, project management platforms)

    Preferred Competencies:

    • Strategic planning and execution
    • Team building and leadership
    • Financial and business acumen
    • Process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
    • Stakeholder management.
