• Katchey Laboratories is seeking a passionate Oncology Scientist to join our growing team. This role involves driving impactful cancer research and diagnostics through molecular and cellular assays, biomarker validation, and translational research.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assays (PCR, qPCR, NGS, FISH, etc.) for oncology targets
• Analyze tumor samples for genetic and protein markers
• Support biomarker validation and therapeutic efficacy studies
• Collaborate across clinical, pathology, and bioinformatics teams
• Maintain quality documentation and contribute to scientific writin

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Medical Lab Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
• 2–3 years’ lab experience (molecular/oncology lab preferred)
• Experience with DNA/RNA extraction, RT-PCR, IHC, and ELISA
• Familiar with oncology markers (e.g., KRAS, BRCA1/2, EGFR)

Preferred

• M.Sc. in Oncology or Molecular Medicine
• MLSCN, ASCP, or similar board certification
• Knowledge of ISO 15189, GLP, CLIA, or GCLP standards
