    Quality Assurance Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to join our healthcare team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare quality standards, improving patient care processes, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives across the hospital.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
    • Conduct routine quality audits across clinical and non-clinical departments.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement programs and initiatives.
    • Review incident reports, patient complaints, and service gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Track key quality indicators and prepare periodic quality assurance reports.
    • Coordinate accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
    • Support infection prevention, patient safety, and risk management initiatives.
    • Conduct staff training and sensitization on quality standards and best practices.
    • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Collaborate with department heads to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field.
    • 2–4 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within a hospital or healthcare setting.
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, patient safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent analytical, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Professional certifications in Quality Management or Healthcare Quality Assurance will be an added advantage.
