    Off-Grid Energy Project Manager

    Job Summary

    • As an Off-Grid Energy Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of off-grid energy projects.
    • Your role involves coordinating various aspects of the project, including renewable energy systems, energy storage solutions, and associated infrastructure.
    • You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage project timelines, budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • The Off-Grid Energy Project Manager plays a crucial role in advancing sustainable and resilient energy solutions in off-grid or remote areas.

    Key Responsibilities
    Project Planning:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining goals, timelines, resource, requirements and mistletone.Conduct feasibility studies and assess potential risks and challenges associated with off-grid energy project.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, vendors, and contractors.
    • Foster strong relationships with project partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

    Budget and Resource Management:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
    • Procure necessary materials, equipment, and services while adhering to budget constraints.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards governing off-grid energy projects.
    • Ensure that all projects comply with environmental, safety, and legal requirements

    Technical Oversight:

    • Work closely with engineering teams to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of off-grid energy systems.
    • Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

    Community Engagement:

    • Engage with local communities to address concerns, communicate project benefits, and ensure community involvement in the decision-making process.
    • Implement community education programs on sustainable energy practices.

    Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of off-gridenergy systems.
    • Address any issues or defects promptly to maintain project integrity

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience managing renewable energy projects, preferably in off-grid or remote environments.
    • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, energy storage, and off-grid power systems.
    • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in the energy sector.
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
    • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
