Beverage Preparation and Service Excellence Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve all drinks, including complex cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
Speed and Efficiency: Maintain a quick and efficient service pace, especially during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of drinks to both bar patrons and waitstaff.
Order Accuracy: Accurately take and process beverage orders, enter them correctly into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and manage bar tabs.
Customer Engagement: Engage with bar patrons in a friendly, professional manner, recommending drinks, and managing customer flow at the bar counter
Inventory Control and Stock Management Stocking: Maintain and replenish par stock levels for the bar during shifts, ensuring all necessary spirits, mixes, garnishes, ice, and glassware are available.
Inventory Control: Practice strict inventory control to minimize waste, spillage, and unauthorized consumption. Conduct physical inventory counts as required by management.
Equipment Care: Ensure all bar equipment (blenders, ice machines, taps, shakers) is clean, functioning correctly, and handled according to maintenance protocols.
Procurement Support: Report inventory shortages promptly to the Supervisor or Shop Manager
Hygiene, Compliance, and Safety Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar station, including work surfaces, utensils, sinks, and storage areas, adhering strictly to hygiene standards.
Responsible Service: Monitor customer consumption to prevent over-intoxication, following local regulations regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
Security: Be vigilant regarding security, promptly reporting any suspicious activity, breakages, or unauthorized access to liquor stock.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the lounge operates within the structured company's SOPs and adheres to all hygiene, health, and fire safety regulations.
Others: Other duties as assigned by the Shop Manager/Bar Manager.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 3 years work experience.
